Women's AFL Teams Newcastle

2015 WOMEN'S BDAFL COMPETITION

AFL NSW/ACT have stated that they have a significant number of women who have expressed interest in being part of a competition, and will also be holding a number of other activities in the coming months.

They believe that they will be able to have, as a minimum a four team competition with teams from both the Central Coast and Newcastle.

The preference is for the Women’s team become part of existing BDAFL clubs, however they have not ruled out having standalone Women’s clubs if necessary.

The logistics are still be worked out and further details will be provided at the planning day on 9 November 2014.

If any women are interested in playing in the Womens competition in 2015 please express your interest by sending an e-mail to simon.smyth@aflnswact.com.au
